Rickey has a rare ability to put people at ease and draw them into fascinating conversations. She has interviewed icons as diverse as singer Dolly Parton, author Salman Rushdie, journalist Tom Brokaw, rapper T.I., Home Depot co-founder and professional sports franchise owner Arthur Blank and Ambassador Andrew Young. Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms chose Rickey to host a regular live “Ask The Mayor” show and documentary filmmaker Ken Burns proclaimed she was the best interviewer he’d ever met.

Rickey is a sought-after emcee, event moderator and speaker by organizations such as the NEXUS Global Summit, the Jimmy Carter Presidential Museum and Library and the U.S. Department of State’s Foreign Press Center. She has moderated live audience interviews with luminaries including World Cup-winning soccer coach Jill Ellis, former US President Jimmy Carter, former Canadian Prime Minister Joe Clark and politician and voter advocate Stacey Abrams. The World Affairs Council of Atlanta has selected Rickey to be annual emcee of International Women’s Day.

She also regularly moderates live, televised candidate debates.
